The starting action of Ermetal Companies Group was achieved by ERKALIP which began operation in 1972. After leaving the university at the preliminary degree stage, I took my first job with excitement as a “mould maker” because of the deeply impression of moulding on me. I was very lucky to be among the first graduates of the Bursa Tophane Technical School’s moulding workshop in period 1965-1968. The first mould workshop in interier constitution of vocational schools in Turkey were established with the efforts of our valuable teacher Mr. Aydın Aycan.
I comprehended the necessity and importance of moulding in order to improve my father’s ‘ stove maker’ profession. After school graduation, I received a Bench lathe. The future steps of goals grew many times in the following years. Ermetal Companies Group, began working with 1965 mould maker “master Fahrettin” and his Bench lathe.
The professional success of my collegues with their respect to the association and themselves is my most important gain that I acquired up till today. ERKALIP with a 5400m2 covered plant area is involved in a respectful place countrywide with its 110 well experienced employees and 220.000 h/capacity. Sheet moulds for Automotive, control gauges and special made automation systems are firstly supplied to Ermetal Companies Group in order to meet the requirements of the Group Companies. With the 2006-2007 investments more than %50 of our production capacity meets the expectations of the oversea’s market demand. We are targeting to manufacture products of goog quality with a competitive price in a short time period.
